Heidelberg Museums
(Heidelberg, Baden-Württemberg, Germany, DE)
The rich historical, cultural and artistic heritage of the city is well-preserved within Heidelberg's many museums, which cover a whole host of interests. Those with a passion for textiles will be at home in the late Max Berk's Textile Museum, while the University Museum (Universitätsmuseum) is of special local interest, celebrating Heidelberg's famous and historic university campus.
If you are lucky enough to visit Heidelberg during the month of March, the 'Long Night of the Museums' is worth looking out for, where the city's many museums and similar venues stay open all night long, until as late as 03:00 in the morning, hosting live events and celebrations. The city's main museums are shown here.
